One of the biggest challenges when working on projects is the different timescales that can be requested by customers.
Often times, there are unforeseen circumstances where clients urgently need a product supplied and Aquaseal Rubber always tries to supply products regardless of how tight the deadline is.
A customer emailed us about a project that they were working on and needed helping fulfilling. They provided us with a drawing, asking how quick we were able to cast items. They needed a number of polyurethane mouldings on short notice. While our customer had planned on making the tooling, the customer they were supplying products to needed it within 5 days.
We gathered further information on the project and priced the items according to the drawing that had been supplied. Once we knew what quantities were required, we set to work and were able to produce the parts within 48 hours of free issue tooling.
It was a tight turn around time for us, but we were able to deliver within the timescale specified by the customer. One of the main challenges was working with the raw materials suppliers, who have their own turn around time. Due to our strong relationships with our materials suppliers, we were able to get the materials needed to fulfil the order.
We were able to finish the project with a happy customer. The customer was very impressed with our turnaround and was over the moon to be able to keep his customer demands on time also with no delays to their project.
Jason Armstrong, managing director says, “At Aquaseal we always try to help our customers with tight deadlines. It can’t always be done due to raw material needs but we were happy to help this time, keeping the production at the local car manufacturing plant moving.”
