Customer pleased with replacement garden hose

We were contacted by a member of the public earlier in the year who was looking to replace two of his garden rubber hoses. He had them for at least 30 years and the rubber was starting to harden, making them difficult to use.

Like many of us during lockdown, our customer must’ve been spending extra time in the garden and knew it was time to upgrade his old hoses! He came to us specifically because he didn’t want to order a plastic hose as these struggle to coil, especially when it’s cold.

We offered him 20 metres of rubber air hose, which works well with water, with a lead time of four to five days.

A few weeks later we received an email with some excellent feedback,

“I just wanted to tell you that I LOVE using my new air hose. I bought some brass fittings from Screwfix and they fit perfectly with no leaks.

It is much softer than my old rubber hose and coils so easily!
